Installing VMware ESXi 7

VMware ESXi is software offered by VMware ESXi is software offered by VMware in two versions. 1. To install, you need to download the .iso file from the vmware site.

Recommended capacity for ESXi is 16GB. It is also possible to install the system on an HDD where it is not necessary to use powerful and fast data media.

Select the keyboard language where we will enter the password. This language pack can be changed even after the operating system is installed.

Po nainštalovaní operačného systému a reštarte servera dojde k načítaniu systému ESXi. Na úvodnej pbrazovke systém informuje o aktuálnej IP adrese ktorú ma pridelenú z DHCP servera. Manažovanie systému je možné aj cez konyolu stlačením tlačidla „F2“ a následným zadaním root prístupového hesla. V tomto okne je možné vykonávať základnú údržbu systému nastavenie IP adresy, vlany prípadne prehliadať LOG súbory.

Access to the ESXi system is via a web browser where we enter the IP address assigned to the ESXi server. After loading the page, the system will prompt you to enter your login name and password.

The first time you log in, you can enable or disable CEIP from sending additional device data to vmware. Subsequently, it is possible to fully create VMs and then manage them.
