Pre inštaláciu VM v prostredí vmware vsphere ESXi je potrebné pridať novz disk „datastore“ na ktorý sa budu ukladat dáta.

When creating, it is possible to select the capacity we want to occupy on the disk. This value can be increased in the future but cannot be reduced.
After the partition is created, the created datastore appears in the Datastores menu. It is possible to upload files to it via the WEB interface or create virtual machines.
