To install a VM in a vmware vsphere ESXi environment, it is necessary to add a new “datastore” disk on which the data will be stored.
When adding a disk, it is necessary to select the method of mounting the disk. It is possible to mount a local VMFS disk or shared NFS storage.

When creating, it is possible to select the capacity we want to occupy on the disk. This value can be increased in the future but cannot be reduced.
After the partition is created, the created datastore appears in the Datastores menu. It is possible to upload files to it via the WEB interface or create virtual machines.
